Part 1: Seasons

Winter, spring, summer, fall--your skin has different needs for them all.

Every season comes with its own set of unique challenges. For instance, hot, humid summers can cause breakouts for those with oily skin. Women with dry skin suffer the most during colder weather.

This section provides a simple daily facial regimen for each season, based upon your skin type. The recipes are simple and economical. They will offer beautiful results--for the rest of your life!

Before we begin, I offer a gentle reminder. Sunscreen is one of the most important things you can do for your skin in any season. I don't have a recipe for sunscreen. You must purchase one that you like. And please--remember to use it on a daily basis.

Now let's get started and FALL in love with our dry skin!

Oatmeal is a great cleanser for dry skin. Milk and honey offer gentle exfoliation and give this recipe a creamy texture.

1 tablespoon oatmeal (old-fashioned, not instant or steel-oat)
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon honey

PREPARATION In a food processor or blender, combine the oatmeal, milk, and honey. Mix until smooth

APPLICATION Gently wash face in the evening with a small amount of this. Rinse off with warm water.
